why not just use the VIN to determine the engine?...lot easier then 
gettin stuff together and rollin around on the ground...

here I'll even make it easier for ya...

look at the 7th digit in the VIN...

H = 304 2v
M = 304 4v
N = 360 2v
P = 360 4v
S = 390 2v
X = 390 4v

and it'll fit w/ whatever x-member you have in the car...just depends 
on how creative you wanna be...like some CJ-7 mounds and a 
drill...remember that w/ the '70 crank you'll be stuck w/ the old 
trans'...(non torqflite non TH-400) unless you get an adapter, switch 
cranks, or so on...
