No it doesn't have to be an AMC lighter as it is going in the hatch area
to be used as a power port for a portable air compressor. I'll check
with my parts guy as I never saw complete lighters for sale only
replacement elements. Thanks for the tip.

Does it have to be an AMC lighter?  I think I've seen everything you need at a local parts store. The one here has a wide selection and they can be installed anywhere you want.
