Roy,
 one of our aluminum oil pump kits, a cam upgrade, and
aluminum intake would be my reccommendation for
starters on your 343. the 3spd is a simple bolt on
deal. Mine came with a BW auto. Don't know much about
it other then it is supposed to work.
