This may be the mirror Rick was looking for. I E-Mailed him but have not
heard from him yet.
Also my AMC friend is on vacation for 2 weeks and I stopped at his
garage yesterday where he was working on his 68 AMX and while I was
there I noticed the mirror on the drivers door was the same as the one
you sent me. So It will go to someone who needs it. I am still looking
for a used one, I am not paying top $$$ for a NOS chrome one that I will
sand blast and paint. I'll just live with the aftermarket one I have on
the car till I find the right ones for the right price. Hang in there
and stay safe from that hurricane.Take care of them veterans as I am one
myself.

Well at least it arrived unbroken! I saw that auction also. Maybe the
guy will trot out another one as he claimed in his auction that he
had bought out a Jeep dealership's AMC parts stock. I have noticed
that the sellers who have a stash of similar parts seem to sell them
one at a time to reap the most money from us bidders. Sorry the
mirror didn't work out for you - you can send it back if you don't
want it to take up unnecessary space or pass it on to someone else
who may be able to salvage it as it is a relatively rarer part.
Meanwhile, I'll be hunkering down in preparation for Ivan. We (the VA
hospital here) are expecting to take on extra Veteran patients from
southern Alabama today as they are being evacuated from their
home/hospice/hospitals down in the Mobile bay area. -Lu-
