Hi Eddie,
I wondered if you can help me find out how I can decode the body tag found in the engine compartment of my 1973 Hornet. It's located where the fendermeets the front firewall. Is this what some folks refer to as the built sheet? I've attached a picture of the tag and an image containing what I have managed to decode using my original window sticker information.
I would really appreciate any help you can give me.

If not mistaken, the 2-27 would be February 27th and the B would be Brampton, Ontario, Canada, seeing that the car is 738152.
I'm not sure what the 06 is but my guess 0 would be for Hornet (Series which would be the 4th digit of your actual VIN) and the 6 would be 2door "sedan" (which would be a 4th digit of your VIN is a 2door, a 2 door hatchback would be a 3, 4 would be four door sedan, 8 would be 4 door wagon and 9 a 2 door hardtop.)
I'm stumped on the 4-PR may have to go look at some of my Hornets to see the tags, always have cut them off and tossed them as I usually have cut the shit out of myself on them for some reason they are magnets. My wife's 88 Eagle cut me the other day on the damned tag like this. Take care, tell people about my Hornet and Gremlin for sale listed on the front page of my website.
