I was not looking for a refund, I was just pissed at the quality. In an E-Mail I sent to complain I said that I just polished them myself as I figured the ones I would get in an exchange would be in the same shape. As it turned out I ended up modifying 2 of the billet knobs anyway. The knob for the column shift I tapered so it flowed into the column shift lever and when polished it looked like chrome and matched the chrome factory lever. I decided not to use the turn signal lever and billet knob, and drilled out one of the other knobs to fit the stock chrome turn signal switch lever and tapered this knob also and polished it. I then ordered another knob along with another 4 way flasher knob, a package of assorted rubber gromets and 2 courtsey light switches. The first order that I got the refund for was 76$ and the second order was 62$. So I bacically got 138$ worth of parts for nothing. I used the second billet 4 way flasher knob and the turn signal lever and knob on the yellow Hornet. A funny thing though on the second order where I needed another knob it appeared to have been polished and packaged more carefully to avoid any scratches than the previous ones. Since I didn't have access to a lathe to taper the knobs I just used a drill bit as a shaft in the knob, tightened the set screw and put it in my new battery powered drill in a vice and used a new metal file on the knob while the drill was spinning. It worked like a charm. "Doc"
