I'm not expecting the surround to come out perfect, only better than what it is now. I had considered the clamping and hot sun but it hasn't gotten that hot down here yet. Another idea was a piece of metal agaisnt the warped portion of the surround then an electric heating pad set on high. Let it set a while, then turn it off and let it cool.
