Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Re: bad week

Dave,
sorry to hear about your misfortune. I take everything in stride. The things that have happened are superficial as I still have my good health......Knock on wood.
Yes that was us at the Valley last year. It was another bad day as we were not able to race due to fluid leaks. First we had a valve cover leak. Come to find out the Indy heads don't like any amc gasket. Indy says they are trying to come up with a solution and reccommend a .060 paper gasket. We just used silicone this year, seems to work. Back to the leaks. We also had a bad tranny pan gasket so we decided to call it a day and move to the field across the street to fix the problems and make a go at it for sunday. We camped there and the rain never stopped from that evening.
The people that have the Spirit were really nice as was don Bangs the owner of the 401 dragster. They gave us gaskets to use for the valve covers but nothing worked. I am glad to hear they did so well.

Davis,
Keep your chin up!  I have been out of work now for over 2
years.  Things went down hill after a 900 pound trailer fell off a
jack and I held it up with my neck and shoulder.  On to questions.
Were you at the LeBanon Valley last year for the MOPAR/AMC show in
early October?  I was there.  I believe you had the only Gremmie
there.  I saw your picture and thought I had seen that Gremmie
before.  Then I noticed the LeBanon Valley sign.  A 401 Spirit won
1st place and a 401 powered dragster won 2nd.  I also won an atlas
for naming Wally Booth as being a champion with both a Gremmie and a
Hornet.

p.s.  Bart, you would have liked the lime green, street legal, 8
second Dodge step side.
