Speaking of PR TV they always seem to have some good tech. info. Last
week they were showing some low riders and Cam says to Dean what would
you build to be different if you were building a low rider? Dean said a
GREMLIN!!!!

you better hope that the 200$ converter you find is a good
one...converters is one place that you definatelly don't wanna skimp
on...it can make the difference between goin FAST and everything
lasting a long time...or being a joke, building heat, and ruining
your trans and converter...

250 isn't bad at all for a good converter...if you nitice, most off
the shelf converters are in the 350 range (depending on what trans
they're for)...which is a good cheap place to start...then you can
start movin up w/ more options...ultimately you want to get a
converter MADE for YOUR setup...thats how you'll be quick and
efficient...

Drag Racing Action's last issue has a good article on it...and PHR TV
did a show last week or the week before on converters and
trans...good visual aids and explanations...
