 I don't remember there being 2 mounting spots but I will check. That would be the difference.

 What about the spedo cable? Do I need to change it ? Can I just change the end? Will an sc 360 auto spedo cable work?

The frame rails under the Gremlin actually have two sets of hole for mounting the rear crossmember. See if the second set is in the needed position.
