Thanks for the offer Davis but I found a piece of 1/8 aluminum the right withe to drop in and cut it to length this morning, sanded it and primed it and painted it with gloss black enamel. As soon as it dry's to the touch in an hour I will put it in my dehydrator to bake the paint for 24-48 hours. I may customize the emblem a little. Like put one of the R/W/B AMC decals I have on it like I said and instead of just Hornet after it I may personalize it by puting "Doc's" Hornet Hornet on it. This is not a resto. as the interior is going almost like the other Hornet's custom interior except for the 12 point cage and have a rear seat so 4 people can ride in it instead of 2 like the other car. Now I got to go mask up and paint silver the molded in bezel that this emblem insert will fit in when I finish it. Have a good day all, I think since the weather is nice and will warm up this afternoon (35-40) I will take one of the Hornet's out for a drive and do some errands.
