There is no proportioning valve in a drum brake setup only the brass brake line block which has the brake failure light indicator in it under the heater blower motor on the firewall. It has a valve in the front and rear line to keep pressure in the drum brake system. You have to remove it from the front line when you put disc's in to keep the discs from haveing pressure on them and dragging all the time. I used an adjustable proportioning valve I got from Jeggs that is made by Wilwood, I think it was 35-45$, I can't remember as it was a few years ago when I put it in the yellow Hornet. Luckily on the new Hornet it already has disc's in the front so there's one upgrade I don't have to make. I just have to do a complete brake job on the car in the spring/early summer.
