Re: trendsetters & exhausts

Speaking of Trendsetters, the sidecovers were originally called 'Sidewinders' and produced by a company called Tadco Inc.I'm not sure how they became known as Trendsetters, although several of their items were called Trendsetters, and I believe Tadco was the parent company. possibly a cross make like Corvette. Sometime this week, I'll have a file on my website under "parts" listing where you can PRINT OFF FOR FREE a copy of the *original* instructions with illustrations. Note the company also produced Frigid Air RAM AIR scoops two years before AMC used them on the 1970 AMX and also had Trendsetter Mirros available, sure wish my original ad was clearer but I'lldo the best I can with it to bring it out, hey, it is free! Note to all,  The Trendsetter kits available today will NOT just bolt up on a Gremlin. They will have to be shortened about an inch and you had better make the cut at the curved end of the cover unless you have a band saw that can make a perfect cut at the straight end because the plastic/fiberglass front cap will have to match up just right at the straight cut or it will look like crap.............The Mix
