I hear ya dude,i have been working on my gremlin since 1998 i used to have a 73 Javelin but my AMC bro Todd owns a 74 9 sec Grem and it was a 12 sec grem when i first met him and i saw how much fun he was having with his lil gremlin and i wanted one too so i traded yes traded the cowl hood and frontbumper off my badly rotted Jav"i miss her so"for a 1973 Gremlin with a poorly installed 360 AMC V8 mated to its 232 I6s weak and wounded 904 auto.i then dropped a mild 343/727 in her and now i'm done skrewing around i boughtmy friend Todds old motor/trans and rear and bolted in a correct V8 crossmember so soon it will be a 73 Gremlin AMC model 20 rear with Moser one piece axles 4.56 gears,AMC 360 0.60 over mated to a BW T10 4 speed,Torker intake,950 Holley ,roller rockers the whole shabang but its currently in a million pieces but its slowly getting put back together the right way this time.
these Gremlin origin stories are cool lets keep em up :)
