A friend had the same problem with his hornet. I
guess these V8 cars all came with wimpy maniflold on
passenger side to deal with problem. He milled face of
exhaust manifold on two planes to bring collector part
of manifold closer to block, and closer to drivers
side. He also had to grind the strut rod bracket and
even manifold itself a little. Not lots of room now
but enough and still looks original. Maybe AM Racing's
strut rod replacement kit would solve problem without
grinding???
I think some people use an aftermarket flexible
dipstick tube available at jegs summit etc.
