I parted out an 82 Spirit about 5 years ago. It had what appeared to
have different rotors and calipers than the ones I got off a 79
Concord that I put on my yellow Hornet. To tell you the truth they
appeared to be some what smaller than the ones out of the Concord. My
yellow car has the Bendix brakes out of the 79 and my orange car has
the factory optional Kelsey Hayes. I would imagine swapping all the
parts, spindle's and all is the same as from other AMC cars. "Doc"

There is a 'Lo Drag' caliper that came out in '81 or '82 -
something about the caliper retracting the pad pucks
back far enough to not contact the rotor - which usually
keeps the pucks in place.

I never heard of that but I know racers like them cause they are much smaller and lighter Less rotational weight.  We had them on the Amc Team gremlin. I have a setup from an 82 concord on my 72 Grem.
