actually, you're half right. My car (when I got it) had NO REAR, although it was a factory V8. Bryan Morrow made sure I had the required parts. I swapped rears the same day I put the Rebel Engine in the Gremmy. He's been very good to me and I'm lucky to have him so near to where I live (about 12 miles) My rear came from a 3.54 peg leg in a concord wagon. I just changed carriers (and swapped my ring gear too) to make it TwinGrip. I wasn't aware they made different lengths of axle shafts... I know some old timers may have told you they were differnt lengths, but I won't believe it until I see it. When I swapped the carrier, the axle shafts had to be pushed back in. They were kind of a pain to seat properly, but with plenty of jiggling and swearing, I managed to get everything back where it was supposed to be. -----Original Message----- From: badass73gremlin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:badass73gremlin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: October 12, 2004 1:55 PM To: BaadAssGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: RE: [BaadAssGremlins] Model 20 axles....posi /non- posi From: "Petriew, Kelly" <petriew@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 2004/10/12 Tue AM 10:26:32 EDT To: <BaadAssGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: RE: [BaadAssGremlins] Model 20 axles....posi /non- posi Kelly,i thought you already had a AMC model 20 in the back of your Gremlin as it was a factory V8 right?
