I have an old fender emblem that had both the pegs broken off, and one foot bent slightly. I took it to work today, and drilled a hole carefully in the back in the top peg location, and screwed in a small wood screw. I found it would fit thru my polo shirt button- hole nicely WITH the button in it, and hold it in place. Now I am wearing a Gremlin on my chest! LOL. I got a few comments on my "jewelry" from the Korean ladies at work...Jerry's wearing CAR PARTS!!! :D Well, it works for ME. I don't think I'll attach the script emblem to my forehead, though. Too much work. But a nice use for an old emblem. It also has a hole in the toe, I had hung it from a chain around my neck, but it was upside down, so I quit doing that. Looks MUCH better as a quasi-Bolo piece of art. Maybe someday soon I'll take a picture of it on my shirt. Jerry ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos.
