[BaadAssGremlins] Gas Tank

Got a problem. I went to a car show tonight. At least I got to a car show. I backed into my spot walked around a little came back to the car and the man parked next to mine said I had a big problem. He said I had something leaking from the back of my car. I looked under it and a stream of gas was pouring out. It is about twice the size of pencil lead. I knew I couldn't leave it there so I said the hell with it and drove it home. I prayed a lot. I got under it and on the bottom it has a small hole. It doesn't look like anything hit it. The outside of the tank looks good. No rust. I taped all around the hole and it feels and sounds solid. I expected to push a big whole in it. You guys think it is 26 years of rust on the inside of the tank or just one of those things. I need to have Gremmie running by next weekend the big car show in the park is then. I got some Permatex fuel tank repair Epoxy. I think 25 years ago I used something like this to fix a leak in a gas tank on an old Ford Van. I don't know but I guess I am getting older but the thought of sticking some kind a putty on the bottom of my gas tank and having it hold as got me a little worried. Anybody else spring leaks in their gas tank and what did you do about it.
