The only other option with those bolts is to open the inside frame rail hole and let the head of the bolt go into the unibody frame. It does not tighten to the inside rail at all. You can see the gap around the bolt head. You of course would not want to do this on a total resto. A modded car, probably not be a problem at all. I'd get hole plugs and use lots of antisieze on those bolts, whether you get the correct bolts or not. This reminds me I need to put another dose of PB blaster on those nuts and bolts to I can swap out the bushings in my American, 42 years is probably long enough on the stock bushings.
