RIP: AMC Employee Dies - Virginia E. Giovanelli, 1917 – 2011

Former AMC Employee Passes Away:

Virginia E. Giovanelli
1917 ? 2011

Virginia E. Giovanelli, 94, of Kenosha passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 29, 1917, in Kenosha to Peter and Mary (Bielawski) Pawlowski.

Virginia married Angelo Giovanelli on Sep. 3, 1938 at St. Casmir's Catholic Church in Kenosha. She worked for American Motors for many years until her retirement in 1972. Virginia's greatest joy in life, was the time she spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo; her son, Alfred Giovanelli; her parents; two sisters, Stella Schaefer and Helen Garnero and two brothers, Stanley and Walter Pawlowski.

Virginia is survived by, her daughter, Joan (Phil) Richio of Kenosha; a daughter-in-law, Carole Giovanelli of Kenosha and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at St. Mark's Catholic Church (7117 - 14th Avenue) with entombment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice in Virginia's memory would be greatly appreciated.
