Sorry, I believe you misunderstood me. You don't need a T5,  5 speed manual 
to get low clutch pedal pressure. You need a different clutch pressure plate 
installed. Like Mark Price stated a diaphragm type pressure plate will have 
substantially less pedal pressure than a borg and beck or long style 
pressure plate.
Now about a T5. That will up your fuel mileage a bit. If you can stay out of 
the throttle of course. It improved my Javelin's mileage by about 2 mpg.

For additional clarity, I'm guessing if you choose to switch to an 
automatic, you'll find that the hole in the floor that came from the factory 
will NOT have to be altered to make things fit. You would need a brake pedal 
from an auto car or you coul djust use the smaller pedal that's there.

Glad you decided to keep the Donny, if you do decide to sell it later on, 
let me know, I have always wanted a 70 MD Jav with a 390 four speed.
