Definitely know of the band. Met the former lead singer/bass player, Susan
Stenger, in '09 when she was accompanying ( not as a member ) Throbbing
Gristle because her husband was the manager promoting their tour. TG is
credited as one of, if not THE band that set off the original ( and oft
mimicked ) so-called industrial music sound. Caught TG in both LA and SF on
the West coast part of a tour that brought them back, in SF, after a 30 year
absence from the States.

  Guess it would be appropros that Stenger would accompany  what was indeed
almost a cult phenom in the seventies in England What I was struck by ( not
as a fellow fan per se- I was on a technical crew ) was the knowledgeable
following amongst fans here that weren't alive when the band last appeared
in the States!

In doing a little research after your mention of the Marlin on the BoSs
cover- that choice wasn't accidental. You know way more about the subject,
Eddie. Fascinating.

Not sure how many of you remember this long since gone band. Their album
cover featured a
AMC Rambler Marlin on cover, which was a actual American Motors 1965
brochure:
