[AMC-list] astro spiral javelin film

Here is a American Motors promotional film on youtube of the Astro Spiral Javelin, how it 
was developed for stunt, to actual footage of the jump here in Houston at Astrodome.

these Javelins were part of bigger team of Hell's Drivers which included AMXs, Gremlins, 
Hornets & Matadors, some still are on my site here in the AMC Racing, Hell Drivers & Cops!

the original footage in the YouTube video was originally distributed to AM Dealers in 
small 16MM film canisters like this

to hype up attendace at these events, which were sponsored by American Motors. So quite 
neat to see a actual piece of historical footage on these cars. The Javelins, all 1972 
models, had glass taken out and were six cylinder cars, JM Productions was the company 
doing these Hell Driver events back then. Most of you know this is where the James Bond 
Man With Golden Gun stunt originated.

It's my understanding that some of these stunt Javelins still exist and are warehoused in 
the Buffalo, NY area. Would like to see one come out of hiding.
