Hi Eddie,

Thanks for taking the time to talk with me on the phone yesterday afternoon As we had discussed, I am in the process of tearing down and rebuilding my 79 Spirit AMX..... and first thing's first, I need to replace some rotted floor pans. The actual chassis and exterior are in good shape. There are a variety of other parts I will be needing in the near future, but I am not prepared to get too far into that yet, until I have addressed the rotted floor & cargo pans. So, what I need your help to find are:

1) Rust free, solid cargo area/trunk pan. It needs to be seam-to-seam from driver's side to passenger's side. It also needs to be pretty much all the way to the seam at the back panel. The forward area of the panel needs to have at least part of the hump in it. The existing pan is solid as rock in the hump area, but as soon as it transitions into the flat areas, it has some very rotted areas.... Basically, any flat areas that were covered by the felt are rotted. Looks like the felt backing retained moisture and worked it's magic on the sheet metal beneath it.

2) Rust free, solid front and rear floor pans. Same scenario as above. The felt backing retained moisture in the low areas of the pans and rotted them from the inside out.

Any help that you could offer, or directions that you can point me in, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help!
