I already have a Chevy alternator on my Javelin. Someone had modified the stock alternator bracket and then put a Chevy alternator on it. I think I will disconnect the ps pump and drive it to see if the noise is still there. I kinda associate it with the rear jets opening up in the 4 bbl carb for some reason. Weird noise. I wont get to it for a a few weeks though, gall bladder surgery (fun).
