If you want freedom.....move to New Hampshire. They're motto is "Live Free or 
Die" for a reason. No income tax, no sales tax, no bottle tax, no seat belt law, 
no helmet law, no insurance law. But What would you do if someone without 
insurance hit you, totaled your car, and put you in the hospital for months and 
the person is destitute with no assets? Your life is ruined because someone else 
didnt buy insurance. Unless your smart enough to add uninsured motorist to your 
own plicy. 

 Im just sayin.

that's the hitch.  getting folks to accept that sort of personal
responsibility in this day and age is well nigh impossible.  it might
be hard to defend legally, too.

failing that, we have to have nanny laws like seat belt usage.
