There's a fellow out there who has made a GM to Gen-1 AMC adapter, he's not really making a kit. He did make a torque tube adapter as well. I've encouraged him to make the trans adapter available alone as that would probably sell pretty good to Rambler owners and a few Jeep guys. I'm sure he would sell the trans adapter alone.

Actually,?going?with an open driveline to replace?the torque tube and all that's
associated with it is the primary reason for these upgrades. When I say I'm
wanting to replace everything from the flexplate back with an adapted GM OD auto
and Explorer diff.......I do mean everything;-)  I understand that one of the
kits being made does retain the torque tube but that's not my goal. I plan to
get just what's required to bolt a 700R4 to the 327.
