Joe; Those spade connections are shure handy and easy to use, however they can work loose and you are at the mercy of the quality of your crimp. I always run a bare wire through the hole in the male end and bend over, then soder to the male part it self. I then put a piece of shrink tube over the male piece and wire, the seal the whole thing. Sodering is easy. Make sure your tip is the correct type and that it is clean. Place the tip on the connection target, not the wire. The object is to draw the soder towards the heat with the wire in the middle. Just a little soder goes a long way. I wired up my own 65 with a Kenwood in dash head unit and four primo Infinity speakers years ago. Every connection was sodered and shrink tubed. I have had zero probs and 100% good noise ever sense......Russ _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
