If it is truly the AMC 4  it should have a 904 series trans with 60* GM bolt pattern.

There's a 1984 Jeep DJ in a local junkyard with an AMC 4-cylinder engine in it.  The throttle body is missing but it appears to have had TBI injection.
 
What automatic transmission would have been in this little truck and what bolt pattern would apply?  Just curious.
