Re: [AMC-list] Car magazines are bugging me

Bruce---did you take time to send your letter to HCC? If you don't let them know, they won't divine that you feel that way. Even though Dan Strohl (proud to call him a friend) works for Hemmings-at-large and is an AMCer himself, he can only do so much advocating at editorial planning meetings before he's told to go sit in a corner (my guess since he's the "kid" on staff). I'm sure he'll see this thread and chime in with his $0.02 worth.

I actually don't mind reading restoration stories so much. My gripe with restoration stories is the lack of BEFORE photos & information. I want a complete run-down and run-through on the car before it ever makes it into the garage. I want to see the derelict-hulk-in-the-field in all its glory so that I can contrast the finished product.

The most recent Muscle Machines did a resto article on a 65 Skylark GS that showed a photo of the car as it was found, in a field. More, please!
