Did that car have BC plates? If so, it may have been one I worked on. (I did studs on my '82 Spirit too when I put the aluminum valve cover on)

  I don't know if the Isuzu diff will work. At the time some of the fellows were
talking of possible replacement diffs for AMCs and I thought someone might check
it out to confirm. It has the rear discs that some want and/but also 6 lug hubs.
Jeep wheels might fit.
  
  The rear valve cover bolt wasn't my idea. I found it on one of the cars I
bought so I guess we're not the only one who's tired of the original design.
