One was replaced with bent EMT (conduit). A lot can happen in 40 years! But they are light. I recall them being fairly common in the 60's and 70's but I rarely see them now. They are a 'sweet spot' in the low overhead vs. convenience continuum. I tend towards the frugal in camping, so the popup seems luxurious. Every year 'til last two of us slept in the back of the Rambler wagon for 7 days in a row! By the end we're feeling like rats living in a dirty pile of newspaper. To now be able to actually stand up to put your pants on, why, it's just how them rich peoples up onna hill live! Well it sounds like some fun to be had w/ camping trips for your kids. There's a lot to be said for the temp out of the trunk; very low overhead, easy to cruise around randomly. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
