No need to jump on the off topic bandwagon all the time you can do digests or individual mails,n group them by topic and delete the whole mess. 

That pet was my buddy for almost 12 years. He sat beside my recliner for 15 weeks when I could not get out of the chair on my own. To see him go from a big bouncy faithful companion to a dog stuck leaning against a wall covered in feces because he had over night lost the ability to stand just ripped a little part of my world apart. To bathe him and carry him to the vets with my wife and two young sons knowing he was not coming home...  Then to see him ever so calmly take the needle in the vein in his front leg with nary a whimper. Once the anesthesia was in he slowly laid his head down and was gone. 

    So, just a pet, you decide. 

Yes this post is truly 100% bonafide Off-Topic. He even rode to the vet in his favorite car a Nissan Altima.  

   I raise my glass to chewy, if there were only a Guinness in the house! May he be waiting on the rainbow bridge or chasing rabbits in the valley of the Aire.

OK, although the loss of a family pet is a sad thing to happen and my condolences for your loss, but this subject is totally non AMC related as has been a few other posts here lately.
