i think the aluminum motor has an easy fix for the water circulation problem
before the t-stat opens. just below the t-stat housing, there is a plugin the
water jacket. should fit a 3/8-7/16 hose nipple in there. the water pump has
got a little extra length on the main inlet from the radiator. i think i
might drill and tap for a plug just after the radiator hose. that  might work
for the circulation. that will be VERY important for the aluminum motor. i
havent found anywhere else to put the small line to suck water out of the
head. i need to do more looking. i can get another aluminum water pump. i
will wait till after i get that extra pump to drill/tap this original one to
try it. this water pump dont have the best bearings anymore. so i dont think
ill be "ruining" it this way.
