That sounds like a lot of fun! I haven't ben back to Meriden since
leaving in '74. But that was a fun school to go to, and I enjoyed the
rotation through Automotive, Carpentry, Printing, Electronics, HVAC
and Machine Shop. We got to mess around and put together an old engine
in Automotive. I made a really poor magazine rack in carpentry. Could
never remember typesetting in printing (we had to remember exactly
where each letter went in the cases). But it was fun. I can't seem to
find a school like that down here in Georgia for my kids. They could
go to a 2 year or 4 year technical college - but I'm not finding local
technical high schools.

It must have been fun doing a burnout in the parking lot! I pulled in
many a time with my dad's '71 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe. Never did try
a burnout.
