Front springs ever been out? A lot of the old cars have different rates for the left and right springs on the front, depending on how it was equipped. You might just want to just swap the springs left to right and try that. Even if they are the same compression rate if it's been driven for 40 years with just the driver most of the time the left spring may now be weaker than the right.

The car is sagging on the left side.  I replaced the rear leaf springs with new ones from ESPO.   It looks like I'm going to have to do the front coils too.  The car is 7/8 inch lower on the left side in front and 1/2 inch in the rear. It's just a driver and I could let it go, but I'd like to correct it.  I'm willing to try used springs if anyone has spare good springs for a mid-sixties American six cylinder car or wagon.
