And it was also Nash years. I don't think anything was made for the 196 L-head after Edmunds stopped making the heads, which would have been the late 50s. The only thing I know of available for the 196 OHV after 1960 was the Offenhauser 2x1V intake plate. There were probably still some "performance" cams available for both the L-head and OHV in the early 60s, but I doubt they were advertised much. May not have been on-the-shelf cams -- could easily have been ground on order in a few days.

Well, there was the 2-bbl version. That's "performance", but it wasn't an aftermarket part.
