Re: [AMC-list] Big brake kits and 69 Rebel question

I've seen a discussion or two of the strut rod eliminator thing and it sounds like a solution looking for a problem (at least for a street car) and could actually cause a bunch of damage if you hit a curb or a big pot hole. Besides being there for ride compliance, the factory bushing allows the control arm to move around a little if a wheel hits something.

Does the 69 Rebel have the "scoop"...what I call a scoop is actually a below surface trim piece in front of the rear wheels. I had a 68. It did...just wondered of the 69 did as well.

There was a canadian seller offering a big front brake bracket for the Hornet a while back on ebay. He had a strut rod bushing eliminator kit too..Does anyone know the guys name?
