I agree.  The Gremlin didn't throw its door glass away, for one thing, which means the wreck didn't get past the door jambs as it did with the Pinto & Vega.

>From the looks of the 1991 Park Avenue / Geo Storm wreck, twenty years of crash technology development, plus air bags, didn't seem to help much for the 2,282 lb Storm against the 3580 lb Park Avenue (for comparison, the Gremlin is 2521 lbs, the Ambassador is 3682 lbs).

It also looks to me like the speeds were higher on the older tests than the 1991 test.
