You never did say how the post blown hose thing went, or is going!
I put 30 miles on mine today just running errands. I appreciate the sound treatment more every time I drive it!  Never done it to a car before. Makes everything sound better, cept the wind noise.

I have an AMC Laycock de-whatsisname OD unit on an AMC T-150. I'll never use
it. Trans, OD, bell, even the yoke (it's a funny yoke spline I think).
Anyone wants it make me an offer. I'll gladly trade for a T-14 in very good
condition or a rebuilt unit. Or other stuff. Or, I suppose, money, if you
have any of that. Come get it -- Los Angeles.
