Oh, sorry. Yeah, I freaked out for nothing. I realized later that it's
pretty certain that the lower hose popped off right when I got off the
offramp -- BIG steam, plus when I pulled around the corner and looked
underneath, there was water dripping from the chassis. If the hose had blown
off 1, 2, 5 miles back, it would have been completely dry.

I retorqued the head anyways to check (all perfect), looked at the plugs
(had to anyways for the rally this weekend) and oil is fine after another
few hundred miles. Ducked a bullet on this one.

THAT! is why you waste your time on cars! It's soooo damn nice when work you
do shows. That sounds great (pun accepted). I'm dying to get upper
pillar/door seals in my American. Other than some windlace, it's all sealed
except the part that is 4" from my ear!!
