[AMC-list] 77 gremlin wiring gremlins

i am having problems with literally everything electrical.  I am having a problem but i just cant find the common denominator...  

 My head lights work, no parklights/brake lights/turn signals/hazards  , dome lights, gauges dont work, dash lights either/heater doesnt matter but doesnt work anyway...

 What does work..   

the car starts and runs..

i have 12v on the red wire from firewall..
w/ ignition on i have power at the accessories and ignition feeds.. My car stereo, will turn on only when ignition is on... 

 i replaced the fuse panel and it changed nothing,
Is there a common ground?


If its the ignition switch  why , would car start,car stereo turn on, and Brake lights not work.. Since they should be on a constant HOT(meaning car off,but 12v when circuit is closed)...
Any ideas???????
