afaik ford was the last to use the warner o/d, on the t85/t89 backing
a 390 in pickups - in '71.  by the late '70s they had the ford/tremec
toploader 3+o/d, t173 or something.

one difference pickup 3+o/d have to cars is bigger bearings.

also afaik, all '4sp' toploaders have model numbers in the 170s.  the
toploader 3sp is the t150 and in the mid '60s there was briefly a hd
big block t160 3sp.
