[AMC-list] Edelbrock intake

I have a question for anyone who has installed a edelbrock 3731 intake. In the instructions they have you reuseing the baffel on the underside of the pc valve. On mine it does not fit because of the larger hump under the new  carb intake. Old manifold is a 2 barrel 304. I realise you have to have one but don't see them offered with the valley pan. Any suggestions?? Thanks for any info
