So what he's saying is, he'll throw them in a recycling bin and accept nothing for them -- but someone willing to save them for another day has to pay for them.  I don't see any parts from which anyone can make hundreds of dollars, either.

Sigh.  Guess it's always better to throw it out rather than give it away to someone who might be able to use it, or maybe one day give away / sell a piece or two.
