At least there is hope for it!
I have not recieved one bit of interest in the beast.
Only a couple of offers to buy parts and those are not sufficient to allow me to bother breaking the mess up right now.

I'm thinking I may attempt to get the drivers side welded up when the weather breaks.

Then the boys and I can assemble it till it runs.

Maybe I'll change my mind if I can get that far...

Right now It is covered up and mostly out of the way.

--so, this evening, i go and check my email. big deal. have a messege with subject "65 rambler 770". do not know the name or anything of who it is from. so i go ahead and read it. usually do not open anything from someone i dont know. --

--the 65 classic 770 i had when i was still in oklahoma appears to have found a new owner and not the scrap yard. YAY. got a couple emails from the guy asking about info and history on the car. so, maybe the car still lives on. not a very glorifying life so far, but still hope. pretty suprising to have that come out of the blue... lol. --



so, i find out now, the block on the car has been cracked, after all the time, money and work i put into it to get the 287 to run good, and the tranny i not shifting into gear. what a difference a year and a half makes, and from what i hear, it going to 3 different people. poor thing. guy says he has located a 327/auto to transplant into it, with optional a/c, and power steering. so maybe, it will have a good life now. if he sticks to it... hopefully.
