[Amc-list] Metro Overdrive Left Field Option

I have a mate Daryl Snook in NZ who did the following to his Metro

He changed the diff ratio to a higher (freeway) ratio from another Austin
possibly a Healey

He then accessed the unused low first gear in the Metro gearbox to give him
some decent take of from the lights

This should require a lot less engineering than adapting an OD unit of some
sort

I had a drive of this car and apart from it being uncomfortably small it
went very well for the era it came from

He also had twin carbs and a floor shift as well
