I removed the ammeters from my FSJs after seeing 5 others (and 2 of mine almost) turn into car-b-ques. No-one seems to take them apart and clean the terminals and coat them with No-corrode (like used on battery terminals) so they heat up till they burn off or the wiring catches fire.

I think I like the ammeter more (BHTJM), both would be best. : )
