The oiling change occurred for 1964 -- it first appears in the 64 TSM. I've seen a few 63s with the change, so it probably occurred sometime during the model year. No difference in the casting -- just an extra hole drilled in the block. Of course the cam and cam bearing changed, corresponding hole in the bearing and slot in the front cam journal.

Frank, FYI, the cylinder head is 3157609, which RWB book says is 63-64 
195.6. It's odd though that the block doesn't have the front camp 
bearing oil outlet though. But who knows with old cars what the heck was 
done...
